About JobHone

Most resumes don’t get read. They get scanned, by an ATS in seconds and a recruiter in even less. If yours doesn’t say the right things in the right order, it doesn’t matter how good you actually are. JobHone is the AI resume builder we built to fix that.

JobHone exists because there’s a gap between the candidate you are and the candidate your resume makes you look like. That gap is bigger than it should be, and it’s the part of job searching nobody enjoys fixing.

What we’re building

JobHone is an AI resume builder, but the way to think about it is simpler than that: paste a job listing, and we tailor your resume and cover letter to it.

The product does a few specific things well:

  • A scan with 23 checks that catches the silent killers: formatting an ATS can’t parse, missing keywords, weak structure, vague achievements. Every flag comes with a quick fix.
  • JD tailoring that takes a job description, rewrites your achievements, drafts a matching cover letter, and shows you the before/after match score. No prompting required.
  • Templates that survive the upload. Every layout is tested against the major job portals, so your formatting doesn’t fall apart between your laptop and the recruiter’s screen.

Built for Southeast Asia

Most resume tools on the internet are built for the US market. They optimise for the US ATS, US LinkedIn behaviour, and a hiring culture that doesn’t quite match how it works here.

JobHone is built in Singapore, starting with the Singapore market: JobStreet, MyCareersFuture, LinkedIn, the agencies, and the recruiters working at companies here. We’re expanding across Southeast Asia from there.

That focus shows up in small details: the keywords we recognise, the templates we ship, the conventions our writing assistant defaults to. It’s the difference between a tool that technically works and one that’s actually built for the job market you’re applying into.

Who it’s for

JobHone is for anyone applying to a real job and tired of guessing whether their resume will pass. New grads writing a first proper CV. Professionals changing functions. Senior leaders who haven’t updated their resume in seven years and don’t want to start from scratch.

It’s not for spamming hundreds of applications a day. The product is built around the assumption that you actually want each application to land.

How we work

A few things we hold ourselves to:

  • Your resume is yours. We don’t sell your data or share it with employers. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
  • Free should mean free. The free plan is free forever, no credit card required.
  • No dark patterns. Cancel anytime, from your account, in two clicks.
  • The AI is a tool, not the author. We expect you to read what it writes and make it your own. The product is designed to make that easy, not to replace your judgment.

What’s next

We’re focused on getting one thing right first: helping job seekers in Singapore and the rest of Southeast Asia produce resumes and cover letters that hold up when it matters. After that, we’ll move on to interview prep, portfolio support, and broader career tools.

If you’ve got feedback, ideas, or a story about a resume that finally landed, tell us at jobhone.com/contact.
